We can't read your guides.
We made sure of it.

Every other guide tool uploads your screenshots to its cloud by default. FigureIt doesn't. Download the extension and start recording; there is no account to create and nothing to sign into. Guides live in your browser, exports go where you send them, and the AI features use your own key, talking directly to your provider. When cloud sync and share links arrive with the paid plans, they will be an explicit, per-guide choice, never a default.
